What are you doing this weekend? While it’s tempting to sleep in, sit on the couch and let the weekend slide by we can all get out there and do more.

This doesn’t mean spending more time in front of your computer. This means spending some time on you and your body.
Spending time on your fitness over the weekend will only leave you more energized for the week when Monday rolls around (which it always does).

If you’re a Monday to Friday worker and are fortunate enough to have the weekend off having no time will not be an excuse (not that I think it’s ever a good excuse).

Get the kids out there as well with you. With childhood obesity at epidemic rates in North America, it’s more important than ever to get them out there with you.

Hiking, biking, walking, swimming, running, jogging the possibilities are endless and yes not very expensive. No excuses, right?

Oh yes, and I guess they are announcing the possibility of rain showers all weekend long.  Well in case you didn’t hear, many years ago a little thing called a rain coat was invented…No excuses.

Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to try my very best to finish up my workday a little early, have a nutritious snack (an orange I believe) and start my weekend the best way I know how with a bike ride.
Yeah I guess I’m just a wild and crazy guy lol!!!
